Anita Tavares

Hi, I’m Anita Tavares, a college soccer graduate from Jersey in the Channel Islands. I started playing soccer at six years old and quickly fell in love with the game. I always knew I wanted to come to the U.S. to combine academics with the competitive soccer experience.

I give 100% to everything I do and believe that with the right mindset, anything is possible. Off the field, I enjoy staying strong and fit, which is why I love Platinum Athletics gear, it’s comfortable, flexible, and built for performance. The hoodie is my favorite, perfectly weighted and great for both training and downtime.

This summer I competed in an island games which is a multi sport tournament that happens every 2 years where islands all over Europe compete. We did well as a team and it’s always an honour representing Jersey.

When I’m not playing soccer, I love hiking, travelling and being outdoors in nature.
